New replacement 1965-1979 Corvette differential carrier clutch preload plate and spring kit. Includes 400lb springs and spring plates that would have been originally installed on all big block and small block Corvettes with heavy-duty differentials. The heavy springs provided more positraction control as they increased the break-away torque for the clutch plates. However, heavy springs can also reduce driveability in cornering situations as the clutches will not slip as designed.
