If your 1965-1979 Corvette's rear end bangs, clunks or whines, Zip Corvette can return your Corvette's differential to like-new condition.
Built in-house by our own skilled technicians, each differential core is inspected, cleaned and reassembled using all-new parts including bearings and races, positraction clutch packs and pinion/side yoke seals. The original ring and pinion is reinstalled and tested with professional set-up tools to eliminate rear end noise.
All rebuilt 1965-1979 Corvette differentials are backed by Zip's satisfaction guarantee and include a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Does not include racing or abusive applications.
Note:This is a rebuild service and can not be ordered without first sending your Corvette's original differential in for rebuild. At this time Zip Corvette can not rebuild 1963-1964 Corvette differentials due to a lack of rebuild components for their positraction carriers.
Zip Corvette recommends a specific break-in procedure when installing a rebuilt differential into your Corvette. Failure to follow the break in procedures will allow excessive heat to build up causing a less than desirable pattern on the face of the gear resulting in noise and eventually a possible gear failure. Zip's 3-year unlimited mileage warranty is contingent upon following the procedures outlined in our Differential Break-In Procedures to safeguard your Corvettes differential.
