New reproduction 1965-1982 Corvette rear spindle assembly w/studs.
An integral part of the rear driveline, original spindles can be damaged from poor lubrication and wheel bearings that create excessive heat. Galled bearing surfaces and broken spindles can be the result. Reproduction Corvette spindles are heat treated and hardness tested to ensure years of useful life under normal wear conditions.
Installing a rear spindle requires special tools for installation and should be handled by a qualified mechanic to ensure proper set-up.
