68-82 SPAL Dual 11in Electric Fan Package & Shroud
1968-1982 Corvette SPAL electric DUAL FAN package includes a dual 11" fan system, (2) mounting brackets, (2) relay harnesses, SP195/175 temperature switch, and all mounting hardware. Dual SPAL 11" electric fans will boost any cooling system an additional 10-15% and this system is capable of 2700cfm. This system can be added to any original GM "large core" copper/brass or "Direct Fit" aluminum radiators. Perfectly designed for these applications: 1968-1972 Corvette with air condition or automatic transmission, 1969-1972 427/454 Corvettes, and all 1973-1982 Corvettes.
Note: This dual fans package will eliminate the factory fan shroud and engine driven fan. Temperature sensing switch turns on the fans at 195 and off at 175. 3/8" NPT male thread.
If upgrading to our "Direct Fit" radiator and wanting a dual fan package for cooling, consider Zip's "Direct Fit" aluminum radiator & fan combos. The combos include fans mounted to the radiator and pre-installed threaded radiator coupling for the fan control switch.
Dual fan kits are designed to turn on at 195F based on the output of the temperature sensor. Some aftermarket air condition systems prefer the fans to be turned on when the air condition system is engaged. Forcing the fans to turn on in an effort to keep the air condition system functioning at its highest level. For air condition equipped Corvettes, if the desire is to turn the fans on when the air condition is engaged, an additional SPAL relay wiring harness kit must be purchased.
