Shark-era Corvettes are commonly found with rusty birdcage body supports and floor pans due to water leaking through windshield post or frame assembly. Water collects under the frame moldings and in the channels, causes rust through, which then allows water to leak into the interior compartment. Repair can only be properly done by cutting out the original rusted components and welding in a new windshield frame.
Zip's new reproduction 1968-1982 windshield frame upper header or center assembly will repair the area between upper corner/side posts. Includes inner and outer steel welded together. Fits both coupe and convertible. Made in USA.
