Notes: Zip's water pump rebuild kit is designed for "short" water pumps found on Corvettes. 1971-1982 Corvette small block water pumps feature a 3/4" pulley hub shaft. Requires the use of a small shop press to complete rebuild. Parts will not interchange with original internal parts - to rebuild the water pump you must use all the parts in the kit as they are designed to work together. Includes stamped steel impeller rather than the original style cast iron impeller for improved cooling system performance.
