77-82 Shiftworks Automatic Shifter (6L80E & 6L90E)

Transmission options have changed dramatically over the past 15 years - no longer are you "stuck" with your factory automatic transmission, now you can upgrade your Shark Corvette with the latest in transmission options including TH350 and TH400 all the way up to the latest electronic 6L90E 6-speed transmission. But how do you keep that factory look on the inside and take advantage of your new transmission's drive-ability? Shiftworks custom automatic transmission shifters are designed just for your 1968-1982 Corvette.

Whichever automatic GM transmission you decide to use in your C3 Corvette - Shiftworks has the custom shifter designed to function properly while maintaining the factory look. Handle and factory style shift knob resemble that used in the 1968-1982 Corvettes, including shift knob button on the top of the ball. Includes transmission shift lever and factory styl housing, shifter control cable, transmission mount bracket, mounting hardware. Shifter assembly mounts just as the factory assembly. Neutral safety / back up light switch is installed, adjusted and ready to wire into your Corvette (harness connector is not included).

Updated design for all 6-speed automatic transmission including 6L80E & 46L90E automatic electronic transmissions.

Note: Manually selecting all 6-gears of the transmission is not possible. The 6L80E & 6L90E shift pattern is P R N D M - the "M" position signals the transmission to look for an alternate input (paddle shift or steering wheel button) to change gear selection. The"D" selection will allow the transmission to operate through all gears as directed by the ECM.
