78-79 Rear Tow Hook System
Easily strap down your C3 Corvette without having to fish your tow straps through the bearing supports and rear strut rods. And no more hooks into the frame rail. 1978-1979 Corvette tow hook plate replaces your factory rear spring center mount plate with a new version including welded brackets for your rear trailering straps. Powder coated black. Includes (4) 7/16" mount bolts for attachment.
Note: Verify use of 7/16" spring center mount bolts as some 1978-1979 Corvettes may have the earlier design 9/16" bolt used on 1963-1977 Corvettes. We do not recommend installing with an impact gun as hard torque has the ability to crack the differential cover at installation.
