63-77 Rear Tow Hook System
Easily strap down your C2 or C3 Corvette without having to fish your tow straps through the bearing supports and rear strut rods. And no more hooks into the frame rail! 1963-1977 Corvette tow hook plate replaces your factory rear spring center mount plate with a new version including welded brackets for your rear trailering straps. Powder coated black.
Includes (4) 3 1/4" x 9/16" mount bolts for attachment. Correct size for 7-leaf heavy duty spring. If longer bolts are needed for the 9-leaf spring application, must reuse original bolts or purchase Zip # ZBL-419 (3 1/2") or BL-689 (4") depending on which 9-leaf (factory or replacement) rear spring is installed.
Note: Verify use of 9/16" spring center mount bolts as some 1963-1977 Corvettes may have the later design 7/16" bolt used on 1978-1979 Corvettes. We do not recommend installing with an impact gun as hard torque has the ability to crack the differential cover at installation.
