New 1985-1996 Corvette Dana 44 differential front yoke mounts to the front of the differential's pinion gear and retains the driveshaft U-joint. Fits all 1985-1996 Corvettes with a Dana 44 rear end. Corvettes with manual transmissions came from the factory with heavy-duty D44 rear ends. Differential front yokes were not designed to be taken off and reinstalled without changing the pinion crush sleeve. When torqued, the crush sleeve provides the tension or force between the two bearings required for the correct rolling torque setup on the differential. Our team recommends replacing the crush sleeve when installing a new front pinion flange. We also offer complete rebuild kits that include all the bearings, seals, and shims to properly rebuild your Corvette's rear differential (part #584059).
