00-04 Headlight Motor (Rebuilt)
This item requires $150 of core charges. Customers who have purchased a product sold on an exchange basis and had a core deposit applied must return the required rebuildable core within 30 days from the date of shipment. A copy of the original invoice must accompany the return. Failure to return cores within 30 days may result in a reduction or loss of the core deposit. Return freight for cores is the responsibility of the customer.

Original headlight motors are completely disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt to factory specifications. Rebuild service includes new OE style drive gears and a complete electrical overhaul. Your Corvette's headlights will no longer be "winking" to the cars in front of them. Specify side when ordering.
Zip's rebuild service for 2000-2004 headlight motors also includes the resealing of the headlight motor case using the factory style ultrasonic re-welding process. Original late C5 Corvette headlight motor housings can not be glued and maintain the factory seal. This is due to the release agent being included into the plastic housings. 2000-2004 Corvette rebuilt headlight motors are sold on exchange. A $150.00 core charge will be added to your order if a rebuildable motor does not accompany order. Complete headlight motors must be returned. Additional charges will be incurred for headlight motors with cracked cases or cut-off wiring harnesses. Only original GM headlight motors are acceptable for core return as the rebuild service is only for factory GM headlight motors.
1997-2004 C5 Corvettes came from the factory with (2) different style headlight motors. 1997-1999 Corvettes came from the factory with the 1st design. These motors feature a die cast metal housing and (3) screws that secure the headlight motor gear housing. 2000 Corvette featured the 2nd design headlight motor which is manufactured of injection molded plastic and does not feature screws securing the headlight motor gear cover. The gear cover was sealed from the factory and was not intended to be serviced. It's important to verify the headlight motor style on 2000 Corvettes as some early 2000 models have been found with the 1st design headlight motor.
