Stock tie rod ends, because they use nylon packing, become pliable at about 190 degrees. From this point on, they lose their ability to hold tight alignment tolerances,and handling performance begins to degrade rapidly. Under high heat situations, like continuous hard use of the brakes (track conditions, etc.), you can count on these hi-performance ends becausetheir construction does not deflect and provides actual race-like performance. You'll also like the fact that these ends are greaseable. This tie rod end measures 5 3/4 inches overall.
