New replacement 1953-1962 Corvette brake master cylinder. Zip's replacement master cylinders are exactly the same as our correct reproductions except they do not include the "Delco Moraine" casting and GM part number stamped in the end plate. A perfect replacement for those Corvette enthusiasts who are not concerned with matching numbers or having their Corvette judged. Our replacement C1 Corvette master cylinder includes the "off-white" plastic master cylinder reservoir cap, banjo bolt with copper washers for attaching the front block and a rubber firewall or cowl boot.
Note: See Zip # DB-825 for a 100% correct 1961L-1962 Corvette reproduction master cylinder.
Note: Zip does not recommend using Dot 5 brake fluid. Dot 5 silicone brake fluid will void the warranty (1-year warranty) as changes in chemistry involved in production of silicone brake fluid may have adverse effects on the rubber components including piston seals and o-rings.
