Transmission options have changed dramatically over the past 15 years - no longer are you "stuck" in 2 gears with your factory powerglide, now you can upgrade your early Corvette with the latest in transmission options including TH350 and TH400 options all the way up to the latest electronic 6L90E transmission. But how do you keep that factory look on the inside and take advantage of your new transmission's drive-ability? Shiftworks custom automatic transmission shifters are designed just for you.
Whichever automatic GM transmission you decide to use in your Corvette - Shiftworks has a custom shifter designed to function properly while maintaining the factory look. Thin design handle and factory style shift knob resemble that used in the C1 and early C2 Corvettes. The universal mounting kit allows you to use this shifter in almost any custom application as well.
The auto transmission shifter connects to the transmission with a provided rod linkage and the proper transmission lever. Linkage utilizes right and left hand thread which makes your final adjustments simple with the twist of the rod. Neutral safety / back up light switch is installed and ready to wire into your Corvette (harness connector is not included). Available with white or black shift knob, specify color when ordering.
