Eliminate excessive end play in your 1962-1974 Corvette tachometer cross shaft gear. The end play screw threads into the housing using a drill guide and tap insert tool that are sold separately (TL-101 & TL-102). By eliminating end play you will restore life to your Corvette's tachometer by reducing the chance for the gear to "walk" and therefore causing it to strip the gears.
