1963-1977 Corvettes can benefit greatly from the addition of a composite monoleaf fiberglass rear spring. Commonly referred to as the TRW rear spring - Zip's Corvette fiberglass rear spring will improve both ride and performance while reducing unsprung rear weight (weighing only 8lbs). Leaf spring chatter or chirping will be a noise of the past and your Corvette's ride will be smoother than showroom new. Restores your Corvette to its stock ride height. Limited 5 year warranty. Includes spring to differential mount bolts, heat shield, and adjustable 7 1/4" outer spring bolts with cushions and retainers. Complete instructions are included for installation.
Available in your choice of 315lb, 340lb or 355lb applications. 315lb are designed to emulate standard suspension equipped Corvettes, 340lb applications will be similar to heavy-duty suspension Corvettes and 355lb fiberglass rear springs will be designed for performance applications. Such as autocross events or customer's that desire much stiffer handling characteristics from their Corvette.
Note: 1963-1977 Corvette rear springs are designed to be used with the factory or replacement heavy duty rear end cover utilizing the 9/16" bolts to attach the spring to the differential. If your Corvette has a replacement GM differential rear cover with the 7/16" spring mount bolts - then order the fiberglass rear spring designed for the 1978-1979 Corvettes.
