An integral part of the rear driveline, original spindles can be damaged from poor lubrication and wheel bearings that create excessive heat. Galled bearing surfaces and broken spindles can be the result. Zips reproduction Corvette spindles are forged and heat treated to ensure years of useful life under normal wear conditions.
Installing a rear spindle requires special tools for installation and should be handled by a qualified mechanic to ensure proper set-up.
