Replacement Honker cotton cloth filter material has more consistent weave than the gauze used in other filters. Provides better filtration while maintaining high flow capability. Plus, this material is treated to prevent "wicking" of rubber seal into the filter, maximizing effective filter area. Stainless steel mesh doesn't oxidize like the aluminum screen used in other filter elements. No aluminum oxide powder is produced. Comes pre-oiled for drop-in installation.
