1953-1968 Corvette firewall grommet installation tool. Tool threads on to speedometer or tachometer cable and makes installation of the grommet onto the cable much easier. No more torn grommets! For use on speedometer and tachometer cables using a single hole grommet that is not split for the cable. Tool threads to knurled nut attaching to backside of speedometer or tachometer cable on 1953-1968 Corvettes.
Note: 1969 and later speedometer and tachometer cables clip onto the backside of the gauge and therefore do not have threads to use for this tool.
