Power brake conversion for solid-axle Corvettes with drum brakes. Converting from standard manual brakes to power brakes in 1956 to 1962 Corvettes is a challenge due to limited space. With a very carefully designed and placed mounting bracket, you can now upgrade with a full 7" dual diaphragm booster to give you the braking assist you desire. The bolt-on conversion kit includes all necessary components, removing any guesswork from the equation. Can be used with factory drum brakes.
1953-1962 Corvette Power Brake Conversion kit includes:
- 7 inch Dual Diaphragm Brake Booster.
- 1" Bore Master Cylinder.
- One-Piece Firewall Mounting Bracket with Bellcrank Assembly.
- Necessary Mounting Hardware.
- Push rod with Pedal Attachment.
- Vacuum Hose & Intake Manifold Fitting.
NOTE:
- Will not fit cars with stock fuel injection.
- Will not fit 1953-1955 with side draft carburetors.
