56-62 Power Brake Conversion - Chrome (1" Bore)

Power brake conversion for solid-axle Corvettes. Converting from standard manual brakes to power brakes in 1956 to 1962 Corvette is a challenge due to limited space. With a very carefully designed and placed mounting bracket, now you can upgrade with a full 7" dual diaphragm booster to give you the braking assist you desire. Bolt-on conversion kit includes all of the necessary components, removing any guesswork from the equation. Can be used with factory drum brakes or with our disc brake upgrades. See note below about bore size depending on application.

Note: 1" bore master cylinder is designed for Corvettes with front drum brakes; Zip recommends the 1 1/8" bore master cylinder for solid-axle Crovettes with front disc brake conversions.
