63-72 SPAL 16in Electric Fan Kit
1963-1972 Corvette SPAL electric fan package includes a 16" high performance SPAL "pull" fan, custom designed bracket kit and SP195FH wiring harness and coolant sensor. This SPAL fan provides 2360 cfm @ 21.6 amps. Designed to fit 1963-1967 327 & 1968-1972 350 4-speed w/o AC or automatic transmission Corvettes including factory GM aluminum as well as aftermarket "small core" aluminum & replacement copper/brass radiators. Bracket utilizes the factory upper and lower mounts on the radiator. The fan kit replaces the stock engine driven fan.
Note: Factory radiator shroud can be used to hide the SPAL electric fan kit however slight trimming of the shroud may be necessary.
Auxiliary fan kits are designed to turn on at 195F based on the output of the temperature sensor. Some aftermarket air condition systems prefer the fans to be turned on when the air condition system is engaged. Forcing the fans to turn on in an effort to keep the air condition system functioning at its highest level. For air condition equipped Corvettes, if the desire is to turn the fans on when the air condition is engaged, an additional SPAL relay wiring harness kit must be purchased.
