Everyone loves the looks of big and bold 4" side mount exhaust found on C2 and C3 Crovettes. Those Hooker style tubes have made a huge comeback. But how do you get the looks without sacrificing ride quality? Let's face it - those 4" pipes turn heads with their rumble, but make it nearly impossible to go for a cruise while listening to the radio or have a conversation with a passenger.
Sweet Thunder designed their performance 4" side mount exhaust slip-in muffler inserts to give you total control over sound. Available from 1.75" to 2.75" depending on how agressive you want those pipes to sound. Check out the sound level chart to help you determine what fits your style.
Designed to fit both Hooker or Doug's 4" side mount exhaust tubes. 14 gauge aluminized steel construction features Sweet Thunder's baffle system. Simple to install by unbolting the side tube and sliding the new baffle in place.
