High capacity braking from the FNSL4R calipers, BP-10 compound pads, and oversized 14.00" SRP rotors are matched to the OE master cylinder output, ABS function, and individual vehicle bias requirements. Enhanced brake performance, increased durability, and high-tech style compliment big wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades with increased brake requirements. Specify red or black calipers when ordering.
The Forged Narrow Superlite 4R (FNSL4R) adds the versatility and convenience of radial mounting to Wilwood's widely popular caliper group. Radial mounting simplifies adaptation and provides two planes of adjustment for accurate alignment over the disc. These calipers integrate "Big Brake" style with Wilwood's latest technology to generate big stopping power in extreme environments. The key to the superior performance is extremely durable and efficient body design. Starting at 4.9 pounds, each caliper body is stress-flow forged from premium grade aluminum alloy billets. The four-piston differential bore configuration provides balanced loading for even pad wear in sustained high heat environments. FNSL4R calipers feature one-piece stainless steel pistons. Stainless is used for its slow heat transfer properties and high resistance to corrosion .In addition, each FNSL4R is equipped with SRS bridge plates to eliminate all bridge wear caused by pad gouging and extend the service life of the caliper. The spring-loaded action of the SRS plates also eliminates pad rattle and dampens the harmonic vibrations that contribute to pad squeal. Two piece bleed screws on each end and internal fluid crossovers prevent damage from track debris.
GT aluminum hats are lightweight and strong to manage the exceptional brake torque generated by the Big Brake system. The hats are specially designed for use on OE hubs without modifications or interference to the suspension. Black anodized finish to prevent corrosion and enhance the overall appearance of the complete package.
Large 14" diameter vented iron rotors provide substantial increases in cooling and stopping power over small diameter OE rotors. All Wilwood rotors are manufactured from premium grade, long grain carbon iron to provide long wear with high thermal stability and resistance to distortion. The superior heat absorption and dissipation qualities of a directional vane iron rotor are essential to preventing heat fade and realizing the longest service life from the pads and rotors. The SRP rotor kits offer the high-tech look and improved performance of a directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, the venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze, dissipate surface heat, and minimize irregular pad build-up on the rotor faces. The results are smoother engagement with improved consistency and response at the pedal. Every SRP rotor is treated with a silver zinc wash to reduce corrosion on the areas of the rotor not kept clean by pad contact.
Wilwood?s MC4 Mechanical Parking Brake Caliper is a multi-use, cable operated brake caliper that combines high output performance with simplicity in design and construction, the perfect solution for DSE equipped suspension that will require a mechanically actuated parking brake caliper. Supplied with each caliper are our Composite Metallic (CM) high-friction, high static-hold brake pads, and are pre-fitted with noise cancelling shields.
Complete Wilwood brake package includes 4-piston forged billet calipers, 2-piece SRP brake rotors, BP-10 brake pads, MC4 park brake calipers, mounting brackets and hardware.
