The Game Changer has arrived from FiTech with its latest addition to the line of Go EFI Throttle Body EFI systems. FiTech recognizes that not everyone needs or has 600HP or a wild camshaft. There is a large group of Corvette enthusiasts who are happy with their ZZ4 crate engine or their Corvette's factory engine, but still want the advantage that an EFI has to offer. Fitech has taken your needs into consideration and built an EFI designed just for that purpose.
The Go Street EFI is a ready-to-run system that strays away from the programmable features and sticks to the basic functions necessary to get the best performance and economy out of your street and mild performance engine. FiTech EFI systems allows you to ditch the old carburetor and advance into the EFI world!
FiTech Go Street EFI 400hp features include:
- 1 BAR internal MAP sensor
- (4) Flow matched injectors
- Built-in pressure regulator
- (1) Fan control & AC Input
- Suitable for up to 400hp
- Attractive cast finish
The FiTech Go Street EFI 400hp can be used on any 1957-1982 Corvette with a Holley or Rochester Q-Jet intake manifold. Installations will require the use of factory point or electronic ignition systems as the FiTech Go Street does not include ignition control. 1981-1982 Corvettes will need to revert back to a standard HEI distributor.
FiTech electronic fuel injection systems will require an electric fuel pump capable of maintaining 58psi of fuel pressure. Zip recommends our line of EFI gas tanks and fuel pumps designed for converting 1956-1974 Corvette applications. 75-77 Corvettes can use a 70-74 gas tank/efi fuel pump to complete installation. 1978 and later Corvettes can utilize their existing fuel tank and upgrade the sending unit to an 82 style pick-up with Walbro 255LH fuel pump. FiTech units will accept factory style air cleaners to keep your Corvette looking original if desired.
