The new Detroit Speed C2/C3 SPEEDRAY front suspension has no compromises and exclusive suspension geometry for superior handling and ride quality. Available as a 100% bolt-on system or with a small amount of fabrication for a competition coilover option that allows faster spring changes.
The SPEEDRAY system features Detroit Tuned quick ratio power rack and pinion steering along with forged in the USA Detroit Speed aluminum uprights. The bolt-on powder coated cradle assembly improves suspension geometry, provides rigid mounting for the rack and pinion, and includes integrated tie down eyelets. DSE/JRi "Detroit Tuned" Coilover shocks/springs allow for spring rate tuning and ride height adjustment. It also includes a splined sway bar with aluminum arms, composite bushings, powder coated tubular upper and lower control arms with Delrin bushings, forged offset upper control arm mounting brackets with caster tuner bushings to optimize suspension geometry while providing clearance for Gen V LT4 engines. The kit also includes Torrington bearings and a spanner tool for easy spring height adjustments.
This SPEEDRAY kit is designed for 1963-1982 Small Block or LS Corvettes. Fabricated system requires cutting upper shock tower and welding upper coilover mount bracket (see instructions). Kit features double-adjustable shock w/remote canister and 550lb coil-over springs.
The DSE/JRi double adjustable racing shock is the most race winning shock JRi has in its stable. With its two independent adjustments and the enormous range of adjustment it can be set to the exacting demands of the driver and performance levels required while providing excellent ride quality on the street. The remote canister shock incorporates a gas charged bladder to provide high frequency and low speed dampening control. Includes billet aluminum shock mounts for securing your remote shock canisters to the Corvette. Mounts with two 1/4-20 x 1/2" buttonhead screws.
