Original style 1970-1982 Corvette engine mount - attaches engine block to frame rail bracket. Locking style which is compatible with original or reproduction 1970-1982 Corvette lower spark plug wire heat shields. 2 per Corvette. Sold individually.
Correct engine mounts feature "thicker" steel material throughout the engine mount; unlike the replacement mounts that are available through a wide variety of sources. These mounts feature correct thickness in critical areas such as the ears, washers, and mounting points. If you're considering having your Corvette judged - then make sure you have the correct engine mounts in your Corvette.
Note: For safety purposes later design "locking" engine mounts will fit 1963-1969 Corvettes. However, these months will not allow you to use the 1963-1969 Corvette lower spark plug wire "V" shields.
