This asphalt-based paint is from the original supplier and was specified by OEMs for frame painting and blackout operations, particularly before the 1970s. Frame manufacturers such as A.O. Smith, Inc. often used asphalt-based paint to coat and protect frames. This product is supplied to restorers who demand authenticity and won't settle for less. Because it is asphalt-based, it is susceptible to gasoline spills.
Note: This is a hazardous item and cannot be shipped by air or outside the Continental U.S.
